## What it means Use this to ask which of exactly two things or people is more of something, like "Which is bigger, A or B?"
## When to use it The pattern is A と B とどちらが [adjective]ですか. Both options get と, then どちら asks "which one," followed by が and the adjective you're comparing.
## Don't confuse it with どちら is only for choosing between exactly two options. If there are three or more choices, use どれ (which one, for things) or どの (which, before a noun) instead. Reach for どちら the moment you hear "or" between two named things.
犬と猫とどちらが好きですか。
Which do you like more, dogs or cats?
日本語と英語とどちらが難しいですか。
Which is harder, Japanese or English?
電車とバスとどちらが速いですか。
Which is faster, the train or the bus?
夏と冬とどちらが好きですか。
